Terms of Service

Hedwig UGC (“Hedwig”, “we”) is a private platform where creators send video footage to Hedwig's editing team and receive finished videos back. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

Accounts

Accounts are approved by a Hedwig admin. You must give accurate information, keep your password private, and you are responsible for everything done under your account.

Your content

You keep ownership of the footage you upload and the finished videos you receive. You grant Hedwig a limited licence to store, process and edit that footage solely to provide the service to you. Only upload content you have the right to use.

Connected TikTok and Instagram accounts

You can optionally connect a TikTok or Instagram account. When you do, Hedwig reads your basic public profile (username, display name, avatar) and the view, like, comment and share counts of your posts so it can show them on your Stats page. Hedwig has read-only access: it never posts, edits, deletes or messages anything on your behalf. You can disconnect at any time from the Stats page, which deletes the synced data from Hedwig. Your use of TikTok and Instagram remains subject to their own terms.

Acceptable use

Do not upload unlawful or infringing content, try to access other people's accounts or data, or interfere with the service.

Availability and liability

The service is provided “as is”. We work to keep it available and your files safe, but we are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or data loss beyond what the law does not allow us to exclude. Keep your own copies of important footage.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. We may suspend or close accounts that break them. You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time.
